Cardio Fitness And Daily Exercise Is A Must

When people talk exercise, cardio is usually the first topic addressed. To be clear, there is more to an exercise regimen than just cardiovascular conditioning. Strength training is a must as well, but there are so many benefits associated with cardio. It is also a form of exercise that you should do daily. Strength training on the other hand is supposed to be done three days a week with days off in between each one.

Cardiovascular exercise gets your heart pumping, and it also can get your day off to a great start. Not everyone has time for exercise in the morning, and some people get in theirs at night. When do you like to exercise? Daily cardio can also help reduce a person’s risk for heart disease and other diseases as well.

You can also count on cardio to help you burn calories and lose weight. You have to put in the time though, and it should be mentioned that strength training exercises burn calories even faster. Did you know that cardio can also help you get a better night’s sleep? It can help you fight anxiety and depression, too. All of those are important benefits, but there are more. That’s why it’s so good to make sure that you get your 60 minutes of cardiovascular exercise each day.

Maybe you remember being told that the suggested amount is 30 minutes. That is the case sometimes, but I’m here to tell you that the doctor would say 60 minutes. Next time you go in for a checkup, ask him or her. Don’t take my word for it, but you do want to take my word about the benefits. It’s time to make sure that you are getting in your daily exercise, and walking is one of the easiest ways to get the job done.
